Chrysler reveals names of next Alfa Romeo cars

Alfa Romeo's next two cars will be called the Milano and Giulia. Surprisingly, the news did not come from Alfa or its parent Fiat Group. Instead, Chrysler, Fiat's new alliance partner, revealed the names in its submission to the U.S.

Interior Motives Europe Conference 2008

Interior Motives magazine hosted its fourth annual design conference at the Santo Stefano Hotel in Turin, Italy - the official World Design Capital 2008 - from June 17 to 19 this year. A melting pot for innovative ideas, the conference featured enlightening presentations from some of the world's leading designers, all revolving around the theme 'Intelligent Design for Tomorrow's World'. Volkswagen creates R division for sporty cars

Volkswagen is officially creating a company to develop sporty cars; it will be called Volkswagen R GmbH. This may sound familiar--VW already calls some of its specialty cars Rs--and now it's bundling sales and development all into one unit. VW has the Scirocco R and the Golf R for cars, as well as the dynamic R Line of design trims.
