Hello!  In this auction of mine, I am selling 2 Yokohama ADVAN S.4. Ultra High Performance All-Season tires off of my own personal vehicle.  The 2 tires are both size 235/45R17.  The ADVAN S.4. provides all season capability and ultra-high performance to demanding drivers of today's sport coupes and sedans.  They are coming from a set of four tires that I purchased new together and had on my car, but I decided to split them up into two separate auctions.  I know that one of the pictures shows all four tires, but I just want to reiterate that this auction is only for 2 of the tires.  The other two tires are in a separate auction.

As the pictures show, these tires are truly in excellent condition.  I personally purchased them new from Tire Rack.  They then went directly on my car and were very recently just taken off.  They have approximately 14,000 miles of non-spirited daily driving on them.  I have had no issues with the the tires what-so-ever.  They have ZERO holes, tears, etc. in them.  I did notice that one of the two tires does have a nail stuck in it, but it never caused any issues for me personally.  I never even knew that there was a nail in the tire until it was taken off.  The tires have never been repaired as well.  As the picture with a penny in the thread shows, there is still plenty of life left in them.  I am only selling the tires because I recently moved to Florida and no longer have a use for all-season tires on my car.

Shipping for this auction will be FREE and includes a UPS Ground shipment with full insurance and tracking information. I will have the item shipped the same day that the payment is received.

Please feel free to send me any questions that you may have about the item. I check my emails frequently and will get back to you right away. As my feedback shows, I am very serious with my eBay endeavors and am not here to waste your or my time. All items are EXACTLY as described.

Thank you for looking, and good luck bidding!

College Exhibition: Coventry University Degree Show 2007

Wed, 27 Jun 2007

Undergraduate students from Coventry University's Transportation Design program had their initial show in the end of May this year, but the range of projects was so vast that a selection of work from the annual degree show was then chosen and displayed in Coventry Transport Museum on June 15. Car Design News was there to see what had been selected. Inspired by the Alfa BT4B with which Niki Lauda won the Swedish Formula One Grand Prix in 1978, Stephan Everwin created a modern interpretation of the 'Fan Car'.  Its rakish lines all culminate in a smooth aerodynamic shape that incorporates a huge fan between the rear wheels creating a massive vacuum under the car providing downforce at high speed.

Yorkshire composer makes music from car sounds

Sun, 25 Mar 2012

Car Sounds Music by Mark Marrington Yorkshire composer Mark Marrington has created ‘Dance Music with a vehicular Twist’ in a composition using car sounds. Making ‘music’ from car sounds is nothing new. If you’re a Top Gear fan you’ll remember music maestro James May doing something similar with TG’s theme tune Jessica to some derision, and the boys clicked and shut a trio of BL’s best to the tune of Pink Floyd’s ‘Money’.

Chevrolet reveals more details of Camaro ZL1

Fri, 09 Sep 2011

The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will not be anywhere near as rare as its 1969 namesake when it arrives during the first quarter of next year, but the most powerful production Camaro to date should deliver performance easily worthy of its model designation. Camaro engineers on Thursday offered media members a preview of the upcoming Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 fighter, and the tale of the tape is impressive, especially in terms of grunt. The 6.2-liter supercharged LSA V8 will make 580 hp at 6,000 rpm and 556 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm, besting Chevy's original targets for the engine's output and bettering its efficiency in the Cadillac CTS-V by 24 hp and 5 lb-ft.
