It’s the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Jaguar E-Type and Jaguar are out to celebrate the anniversary in any way they can conjure. All things E-Type kicked off at the Geneva Motor Show last week with the original E-Type launch car – a Geneva launch at that – on hand to celebrate all things Jaguar.

Mazda Kazamai preview

As we reported in June, Mazda has now confirmed it will unveil a compact crossover vehicle concept at the Moscow International Automobile Salon on 26 August. Called the Kazamai, which means "swirling crosswinds" in Japanese, the new vehicle is the sixth concept to employ Mazda's evolving 'Nagare' design language. The car's lines, inspired by crosswinds in nature, are claimed to evoke visual lightness, while its aerodynamic proportions accentuated by its bold front wheelarches and sleek roof line gives the design an emotional appeal.

Jaguar R-S Range to grow – XKR-S Convertible, XJR & XFR-S planned

R-S will extend across the Jaguar range It’s been a while since we played the speculation game with Jaguar, so it’s due. The last punt we had after a tip-off – apart from the XF 2.2 diesel Jaguar denied when we ran the story – was that Jaguar were planning on building an XJ Supersport Diesel. But long before that we heard that, there were rumblings of a more powerful petrol XJ Supersport too, an XJR, perhaps, or maybe an XJR-S or XJ Supersport S.
