This was a labor of love from someone when the pace of life was a little slower, The ones I have laid out on the floor...there are atleast 3 times that  many colorful old photo ads. There has to be over 100 ads in a bound leather scrapbook 12"x15" that is copyrighted 1931 by the educational press in NYC. Most are from the 1940's and 1950's from large sized magazines like Colliers,Life,Look and many more that I wasn't familiar with. They all seem to be in great condition.......even the 2 or 3 page foldouts. I never got through all of them...I found myself wanting to order one of these cars and go back and take delivery at those prices.None of them were mounted and just laid between the pages. The scrapbook has very little writing. A lot of these autos, tractors and trucks you've never seen.  Your satisfaction is guarenteed!

Bentley plans to add four-seat sports car, crossover to lineup

Mon, 29 Aug 2011

Bentley Motors is looking to add a four-seat sports car and a crossover vehicle to its lineup, using borrowed platforms from Volkswagen Group siblings Porsche and Audi, its top executive said. In an interview during the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Bentley CEO Wolfgang Duerheimer said the crossover would borrow from the Audi Q7 and Porsche Cayenne platforms. While the crossover may carry a V12 engine like the rest of the Bentley lineup, Duerheimer said, "not everyone needs to have a V12." Duerheimer, who oversaw Porsche's push into SUVs as the company's development chief, said he "knows what is possible" in bringing a luxury brand into new segments.

GM says natural-gas Chevrolet Impala on the way

Wed, 16 Oct 2013

General Motors said it will sell a version of the Chevrolet Impala sedan with the ability to switch between gasoline and natural gas, part of the automaker's plan for taking advantage of a U.S. drilling boom that has made natural gas a more viable fuel for cars. The dual-fuel Impala, to be announced today by CEO Dan Akerson at a conference here, will have one engine and two fuel tanks -- one for gasoline and one for compressed natural gas.
