To repair A 2000 TO 2004 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE 1.8L 4CYL CATALYTIC CONVERTER REPAIR FLEX PIPE The above applications feature a flex pipe in the head pipe assembly which is located directly on the flange that connects to the exhaust manifold. This makes replacement or repair of a broken flex pipe very difficult. Some have attempted to repair using ordinary cheap flex pipe only to discover that the repair was only temporary and that most replacement flex pipes are not suitable for that location. A far more cost effective solution is to replace the headpipe using a repair kit like ours. 2010 Acura ZDX recalled
Tue, 13 Apr 2010Acura said on Tuesday that it is recalling 1,850 versions of its freshly launched 2010 ZDX crossover for a potential airbag problem. The recall stems from a dashboard material that was cut wrong, which would cause the passenger-side airbag to deploy improperly. About two percent of the vehicles recalled are likely affected, spokesman Gary Robinson said.
Ford's NA Design Director aims to shorten product lifecycles
Wed, 16 Jul 2008Peter Horbury, Ford Motor Company North America Design Director, has told Automotive News he intends to shorten product lifecycles at the ailing company from an average five years to three years starting this decade. "We feel there is no value in minor changes but a huge value in major changes," Horbury told the industry weekly. Ford needs to ensure that buyers continue visiting showrooms as the giant automaker struggles to retain market share.
