Toyota Yaris Facelift revealed
Tue, 22 Apr 2014The 2014 Toyota Yaris (pictured) gets a new look It’s only a few months since the Toyota Yaris got a series of updates for 2014, but despite that Toyota has rolled out a full facelift for the Yaris which will arrive in Toyota showrooms this summer. Building on the styling of the new Toyota Aygo, the new Yaris gets a cosmetic makeover on the exterior including the same cross shape nose with a central Toyota logo, new upper and lower grills, LED tail lights, diffuser in the back bumper and a new shape number plate surround. Inside, Toyota say they’ve invested a lot of work to make the cabin of the Yaris better and given it a greater feel of roominess and dynamic appeal, more choices of equipment and trim and a more upmarket feel.
Double Oh My! James Bond Aston Martin sells for $4.6 million
Wed, 27 Oct 2010Perhaps the single most breathtaking car of the fall auction season, a 1964 Aston Martin DB5--better known as the James Bond car--sold for $4.61 million to Ohio collector Harry Yeaggy on Wednesday at the RM Auctions Automobiles of London sale. The Aston was expected to sell for more than $5 million, and the sale fell a bit short of that, registering a final bid of 2.6 million British pounds, or $4,114,760. Buyer's premiums raise the total sale price to $4.61 million.

If you’re a real petrolhead, there really is no better car show on earth than the Goodwood Festival of Speed (which starts this weekend). Yes, other car shows offer some of what Goodwood does – Villa D’Este, Pebble Beach and Salon Prive are all very good – but none have the depth of petrolhead goodness you’ll find on offer at Goodwood.
