2000 2001 2002 2003 Honda Insight Engine Together With Ima 2004 2005 2006 on 2040-parts.com
Potomac, Maryland, United States
This auction is for the engine and IMA from a 2003 Insight CVT with 142,000 miles. It should fit 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 models but check with a Honda dealer to make sure. Don’t count on Ebay parts compatibility to be correct. If you are putting this into a 5-speed car you may have to swap some additional parts from your current engine. Engine ran excellent before being pulled. Has the factory NGK spark plugs with the code on the end so the previous owner took good care of the car. Oil and filter just changed too. No core charge like most junkyards have. This is for local pickup from Hagerstown MD 21740 but I may be able to deliver within a few hundred miles for 50 cents per mile, $50 minimum.
Engine is sold complete from valve cover to oil pan and water pump to exhaust as the pictures show. Does not include A/C compressor, intake or coils. Insight this engine came out of:

Concept Car of the Week: Porsche Tapiro (1970)
Fri, 11 Jan 2013By the late 1960s it was time for Porsche to create a new car that would replace its ageing entry-level model, the 912. Its sister company Volkswagen also needed a sports coupe to replace the Karmann Ghia and so the two brands joined together to develop what would become the Porsche 914. These days the 914 holds something of a ‘cool factor', generally considered as the ‘black sheep' in Porsche history.
