We've seen it at the Nordschleife dropping a supercar-like time of 7 minutes, 41.27 seconds around the 13-mile, 170-turn track. BMW-Mercedes alliance: the latest news

The two premium brands reckon working together might just stave off the threat of the credit crunch, collapsing car sales in key markets and the uncertainty wobbling the very foundations of the motor industry. But the BMW-Merc collaboration is proving difficult, according to executives in Germany contacted by CAR.

Seat Ibiza Cupra (2013) production car shown

Seat has shown the production version of the new Ibiza Cupra - six months after showing the concept at the 2012 Beijing motor show. And, as predicted, very little has changed for 2013's new Ibiza hot hatch. It's powered by VW's 1.4 TSI engine, complete with twin-charging by super- and turbocharger.
