This part was removed from a 2000 L series car. The color code for the car is "U548F"  also known as just "548F",
"Green Metallic". The color code may be listed with different letters before or after it, but the important part is the number 548. Please look closely at all pictures to make sure this is the correct part and correct color for your car. Instructions on how to locate your color code are below.

One used fuel door in good condition. Opens/closes correctly.

The part has a few minor scuffs/scratches, but these are very minor, and are not really visible unless you are looking for them or are up close.

Part will fit all L series cars made from 2000 - 2005, BUT the color of the part may not be offered in all of those years. Again, please do your own research to make sure the color is correct for your car.

Your color code for your car should be on a sticker in the trunk near the spare tire, under the carpet and false floor, probably towards the driver's side. The sticker will say "Service Parts Identification", and the color code will be listed on the bottom row after  "BC/CC".  If the sticker is not located here, please use a search engine to locate where it would be on your exact year model.

How will you get to work in the year 2030?

Wed, 08 Oct 2014

Imagine a future where New Jersey adopts mass public transit and on-demand jitneys; Boston becomes hyper-dense and walking becomes the primary means of transport; Atlanta disperses even further and relies on solar power, electric cars and Google connected technologies to manage mobility; and Los Angeles tries autonomous cars, but finds the transition difficult, and its gridlock even worse. These are the scenarios proposed in a new study by New York University's Rudin Center for Transport Policy and Management. The report, which proposes scenarios rather than making predictions about the future of transportation in the US, repeatedly points to connected car technologies, autonomous cars and logistics networks as driving forces in regional mobility solutions.

Porsche Macan 2.0 litre 4-cylinder coming to the UK – but not Europe

Fri, 02 May 2014

The Porsche Macan 2.0 litre Turbo will be available in the UK Porsche quietly revealed their first car with a 4-cylinder engine in almost a generation at the Beijing Motor Show last month with the arrival of the Porsche Macan 2.0 litre turbo, produced to mop up sale in China. China’s tax system mitigates against thirstier, bigger-engined cars, so a 2.0 litre turbo attracts tax at less than half the rate of the 3.0 litre V6 in the Macan S, so it will be the big volume model for China. But the demand from China for the 2.0 litre Macan means Porsche won’t have the capacity to build it for other left hand drive markets, so Europe won’t be getting the little-engined Macan.
