2000 Dodge Ram 2500 Front Drive Shaft ( fits 5.9L model with manual transmission)

roShaft proudly manufactures excellent quality front driveshafts for the 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 with 6-speed manual transmissions. We build these front drive shafts heavier duty than stock drive shafts using 1350 u-joints in the constant velocity unit instead of the lighter duty 1330 joints that are installed in the OEM shaft. Please verify that your stock drive shaft uses the u-joint held by centering tabs on the differential yoke. We can also supply drive shafts that use the 7290 series u-joint that uses inside snap rings at no additional cost. As always with ProShaft, feel free to contact us with any questions regarding our products.

BMW 640d xDrive announced

Fri, 24 Feb 2012

On Thursday, Greg Kable waxed effusively about the new BMW M550d xDrive coupe, suggesting that it was the ultimate 5-series for everyday use. On Friday, Munich announced that the 5's two-door sibling will receive an AWD diesel variant: the 640d xDrive. While not quite as high-zoot as the 5-series' top oil burner, the 640d's 3.0-liter, twin-turbo straight-six cranks out a respectable 465 lb-ft of almighty torque between 1,500 rpm and 2,500 rpm, plus 313 hp at 4,400 rpm—numbers that, according to BMW, will carry the 6-series to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds.

Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R concept (2013) at Frankfurt motor show

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

Toyota has released fresh information regarding its 414bhp supermini concept ahead of its debut at next month’s Frankfurt motor show. The Yaris Hybrid R drivetrain features Toyota Motorsport’s 1.6-litre racing petrol engine to power the front wheels and twin electric motors generating 60bhp apiece to run those at the back, giving the car all-wheel drive and a combined output of up to 414bhp. The car also makes use of a supercapacitor inspired by Toyota’s TS030 Hybrid Le Mans racer – energy generated under heavy braking is stored and can be quickly deployed to the rear wheels for an extra burst of power.
