Ford reveals ultra-eco Focus EcoBoost
Wed, 21 Aug 2013Ford has revealed Europe’s first petrol-powered five-door family car to dip beneath the 100g/km CO2 mark with the launch of a 99g/km CO2 Focus EcoBoost. The new 100hp 1.0-litre variant will launch next year and, at 67.5mpg, become its most fuel-efficient petrol-engined family car ever. McLaren F1 LM Prototype on show at Geneva Motor Show
Mon, 04 Mar 2013The McLaren F1 LM Prototype is heading for display at the Geneva Motor Show as McLaren try to out do Ferrari in the history stakes. McLaren are taking the prototype for the F1 LM – the McLaren XP1 LM – to Geneva for its first ever trip outside the UK (it’s owned by McLaren and was promised to Lewis Hamilton if he won three F1 world championships with McLaren. He didn’t) and will have it on show as part of McLaren’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
Brazilian VW design director Luiz Veiga celebrates the Beetle in art exhibition

This exhibition proves not only a celebration of the Volkswagen icon, but also an opportunity to learn a little more about one of its exhibitors – Volkswagen Brazil's design director Luiz Veiga. Car Design News attended the opening at OMA – located not far from the VW plant – to talk with Veiga about art and design.
