VW to unveil Beetle Dune concept at Detroit Auto Show

Equipped with all mod cons, it’s a far cry from the simple, tough desert-race-inspired Bugs that popped up like aggro sandworms during the 1970s. On the other hand, it's still got four gasoline-burning cylinders and two-wheel drive.

We’ve run a couple of Ken Block Videos before, including the Ken Block Gymkhana 2.1 video and the Ken Block on Top Gear video (which TG unsportingly blocked – as they do) – and even Ken Block driving a MKII Escort – and they show off the skills of a man at the top of his game. But Ken has moved on from Subaru, and is this year driving the Monster Ford Fiesta Rally WRT car instead.
Mitsubishi to make Outlander Sport at Illinois plant
Fri, 04 Feb 2011Mitsubishi Motors Corp. said Friday it will invest $100 million to build the Outlander Sport crossover at its Normal, Ill., plant starting in summer 2012. Mitsubishi expects annual output of 50,000 units, with half dedicated to North America and the rest for export to Russia, Latin America and the Middle East.
