 Up for sale is a 2001 NIssan maxima ECU which is completely functional, included in the sale is the immobilizer as well as key in the sale. This means that you do not have to get the ECU prgrammed, since you have the key/immobilizer unit. Before replacing the ECU it will be necessary for you to address and fix whatever caused your ECU to fail in the first place, typically the IACV/Throttle body or coils. Please be sure this item fits 100% and the part number (A56-P69 Z61) matches up to the item that you're replacing.

Following the recent acquisition of a majority stake in the Chrysler Group by Cerburus comes the announcement that there will be a reshuffling at Chrysler's North American design offices.  Joseph Dehner and Brandon Faurote will be taking over Vice President positions at the product design offices in Auburn Hills, replacing Thomas Tremont and David McKinnon. Joseph Dehner will be replacing David McKinnon as Vice President for Small, Premium and Family Vehicle Design on June 1, 2007, moving up from his position as Director of Truck Exterior and Interior Design.

Millions of Ford vehicles recalled for engine-fire risk are still unrepaired

About 8.4 million Ford vehicles that can possibly catch fire remain on the road because of lack of owner information even after the largest U.S. safety recall ever, regulators said Thursday. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration urged owners of the 14 million vehicles recalled between 1999 and 2009 for leaky cruise-control switches to take their unrepaired vehicles in to dealers.
