This is a Black Wing Cold Air Filter for a C5 Corvette 2001-2004.

A used and complete set-up to increase the horsepower for  your C5 Corvette.

One of the quickest and best ways to improve the performance of your 2001-2004 C5 Corvette is to eliminate the restrictive stock air box. This easy-to install FlowPac includes an air filter--dubbed the "Blackwing®" for its unique appearance--out-flowing the factory setup by as much as 90% and can provide up to 18 additional horsepower. Add in a new smooth bellows designed to replace the restrictive accordion-style factory bellows, straightening out air flow between the inlet duct and throttle body for an added increase in horsepower worth up to 23 horsepower over stock. Each bellow is constructed of high-quality, fiberglass-reinforced silicone and offers a single-rib design for flexibility. The Blackwing uses 100% synthetic filtration media called Synteq. The fibers are extremely uniform and very small, allowing the filter to flow more air and trap smaller particles than do ordinary cotton and oiled-cotton "performance" filters. The Blackwing also features an exclusive flow indicator that changes color when cleaning is required. This is a simple bolt-on installation that requires no vehicle modifications.

Bentley 6¾ litre V8 to end production – Diesels & Hybrid on the way

Fri, 17 Aug 2012

Bentley’s outgoing boss has revealed Bentley are planning to drop their trademark 6¾ litre V8 and introduce hybrid and diesel options. Bentley’s famed 6¾ litre V8 engine – in production since 1959, although it didn’t grow to 6¾ litre until 1970 - is as much a USP for Bentley as the badge and the history. BMW tried to bring production of the old iron lump to an end in 1998 – replacing it with a characterless BMW 4.4 litre V8 – but it was back a year later when VW took over as the motivation for the Red Label Arnage – and it’s stayed ever since.
