Fiat unveils new 900cc TwinAir two-cylinder engine
Wed, 07 Jul 2010Fiats of old used to feature noisy two-cylinders with a fetish for overheating, yet the Italians are at it again, this week releasing details of their new TwinAir two-cylinder 900cc engines. As is MINI’s aim to cash in on any bit of publicity it can – sometimes tenuously – get a hook on.

The 249mph racer, the Red Bull X1 prototype, is a collaboration between legendary F1 designer Adrian Newey and Kazunori Yamauchi, the genius behind Gran Turismo.
