Lexus Detroit Concept tease 2. Could this be an LFA derivative?
Mon, 19 Dec 2011Lexus Detroit Concept tease 2 (click image for full size) Lexus has sent us the second teaser photo of a new concept showing a new design direction heading for the Detroit Auto Show. Last week Lexus came over all enigmatic and sent us a teaser photo of a concept car heading for the Detroit Auto Show in January which, they say, heralds a new design direction for Lexus. Porsche reveals Panamera Turbo S
Fri, 01 Nov 2013PORSCHE has taken the wraps off its new Panamera Turbo S, built for those who think the regular Turbo is neither fast nor exclusive enough. Fuel economy is recorded as 27.7mpg on the European standard ‘combined cycle’ average, but drivers in the real world should expect around 20.
Coys To Auction Aston Martin Linked To Bond Author Ian Fleming
Wed, 09 Jul 2014A 1954 Aston Martin DB 2/4, considered by many to be the inspiration for James Bond’s original Aston Martin in Ian Fleming’s novel Goldfinger, is to be auctioned by international auctioneers Coys this Saturday 12th July at Blenheim Palace. Not only was the DB 2/4 potentially the catalyst for Fleming’s characterisation of the famous fictional spy, but this particular car boasts an equally intriguing history. This Aston Martin, a DB 2/4 Mk I Vantage, was owned by Phillip Ingram Cunliffe-Lister, whose father was Lord Swinton, a close confidant of Winston Churchill, head of MI5 and the Security Executive during WWII, and Ian Fleming’s boss.
