CCTV parking fines could be banned

Fri, 27 Sep 2013

COUNCILS in England could be banned from using CCTV cameras and "spy cars" to impose parking fines on motorists under new government proposals. He warned that public support for CCTV could be undermined if people believed they were being used to generate revenue rather than preventing crime.

Hyundai Elantra Coupe

Wed, 08 Feb 2012

Hyundai is set to expand its Elantra range with the introduction of two new models, the GT hatchback – based on the European i30 – and the all-new Coupe, shown here. The Coupe continues Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture design language, this time applied to the Elantra's long and low proportions. At 4,539mm in length, 1,775mm wide, 1,435mm high and with a wheelbase of 2,700mm, the Coupe is 9mm longer and 216mm lower than the Elantra sedan.

Infiniti Q50 Revealed: 2013 Detroit Auto Show

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

The new Infiniti Q50 – replacing the G37 and the first of Infiniti’s ‘Q’ badged cars – has been revealed at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. The Q50 is still unmistakably an Infiniti – but a better looking one – with the trademark curves and grill still intact but with a bit of added oomph from a new look inspired by the Infiniti LE Concept we saw in New York last spring. The Infiniti Q50 is both longer and wider than the old G37 – lower too – and a lot slippier, with a drag coefficient of just 0.26 thanks to the sleeker bodywork and lower stance.
