Here we have a tan
glove box door latch (lockable but I have no key for this lock assembly
and I don't know how many different keys will work for this). This was
removed from a 2001 Chevy Venture minivan (similar to the Pontiac
Montana & Oldsmobile Silhouette). It is in good condition with
minor, normal wear as you would expect from a used item. Shipping will be $5 via the US Postal Service (parcel post) and my preferred payment method is Pay-Pal. I normally ship within 1-2 days after payment has been received and I will add the USPS tracking # to the auction details when I have that available. I would prefer my sales to be to the lower 48 states however I will consider shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other locations, I just ask the potential buyer to email me first with a shipping estimate as it may be higher. Although I know what vehicle this was removed from, it may fit other years of the same model (or similar models from the same Company) but I'm not certain so please make sure this is the correct part you are looking for as I won't be responsible if you buy it and then discover it isn't what you needed. Please look at ALL the pictures to be sure you want the correct part! Although it is a used item and I generally don't have a way to test any electrical item, I will offer a 30 day refund (purchase price + initial shipping charge) if the part is defective and the buyer sends the item back to me at their expense and it arrives safely back to me. This does not apply if I receive a item back that is different than the one I sent (I mark most of my items) or if I can tell that the item I receive back is my original item but it shows evidence that it has been tampered with (wear marks on the screws/bolts, pry marks on plastic edges, etc.). If I think the item is defective to begin with I won't even list it as I don't want to disappoint any buyer but at the same time, I don't want to be taken advantage of and have someone else send me their bad item and keep my good item that I sold to them so that is why I have this policy. |

VW's wild new 496-hp Golf GTI
Tue, 07 May 2013UPDATED: Volkswagen has revealed a 496-hp version of the seventh-generation Golf GTI as part of activities at this year's Worthersee fan meet in Austria – and with it, projected the hot hatchback into the same league as some of the world's most celebrated supercars. Dubbed the Design Vision GTI, the radical new concept showcases a twin-turbocharged 3-liter V6 engine developed for use in upcoming models that, like the new Golf GTI, are based around Volkswagen's highly flexible MQB (modular transverse architecture) platform structure. Set to find its way into selected new Volkswagen models in future years, the direct injection engine replaces the Golf GTI's turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four, and is mounted transversely in the engine bay of the Design Vision GTI.
