Thu, 05 Sep 2013Just a fortnight after the new Mazda 6 saloon was revealed at the 2012 Moscow motor show, the estate version of the 6 is headed for its own spot in the limelight at the Paris show later this month. Powered by the same range of engines as the saloon, and underpinned by Mazda's fuel-supping 'SkyActiv' architecture, it'll reach UK shores before the end of 2012. New VW Golf GTD: Price from £25,285
Mon, 15 Apr 2013At £25,285 the new Golf GTD – revealed at the Geneva Motor Show last month – is just £310 more than the old model despite an increase in equipment and performance and a better specification. Looking pretty much how you’d expect a GTI Diesel to look, the GTD gets smoked LED rear lights, bi-xenons with LED running lights, two chrome tailpipes, 18″ Nogaro alloys and the slightly butch body kt which includes side skirts, butch bumpers and a roof spoiler. Inside is ‘GTI’ too with tartan trim, black roof lining, sports steering wheel and GTD-specific trim for the gear lever, trim strips and instrument cluster.

Thu, 16 Jan 2014Jaguar SUV/Crossover (C-X17) gets another outing – this time in Italian Racing Red The Jaguar SUV Crossover arrived at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year as a ‘Concept’, although it’s clear Jaguar has plans to make it a production reality. That was given more credence with a new version of the Jaguar SUV arriving at the Dubai Motor Show in November with an all new Liquid Metal paint job (that looked better than the debut car’s Jaguar Racing Blue car) and an outing for the C-X17 at the Guangzhou Motor Show with a gold paint job as Jaguar continued to garner feedback for their SUV/Crossover plans. Now Jaguar has arrived at the Brussels Motor Show with yet another colour take on the C-X17 – this time Italian Racing Red – although, as far as we can tell, there are no other changes to the C-X17 from the original car’s appearance.
