Pininfarina 2uettottanta (2010) at Geneva motor show
Thu, 04 Mar 2010How do you make a Ferrari 458 Italia and Maserati Grancabrio look a bit bland? Plonk them on stage next to your stunning concept. That’s exactly what Pininfarina did at the 2010 Geneva motor show with its Alfa Romeo 2uettottanta show car, and next to it the black 458 and cream Grancabrio garnered no attention whatsoever.
Rolls-Royce 200EX concept (2009): first official photos of baby Roller
Thu, 19 Feb 2009By Gavin Green First Official Pictures 19 February 2009 17:00 Rolls-Royce will show its new ‘baby’ car – though these things are relative – at the upcoming 2009 Geneva motor show, a year before sales commence in spring 2010. The Geneva ‘concept’ car is tagged 200EX but don’t be fooled by the experimental suffix. It’s the real thing – Rolls’ new £180,000 RR4 saloon (the production name is still secret).
Hyundai Veloster Turbo Confirmed
Tue, 01 Nov 2011Hyundai Veloster to get new 204bhp Turbo When Hyundai revealed details of the Veloster Coupe – the successor to the successful Hyundai Coupe – we found lots we liked and, really, just on thing we didn’t – its paucity of power. All the new Veloster had to offer was the 138bhp 1.6 litre GDI petrol which, although quite frugal, didn’t exactly light a fire of desire for the Veloster in the way we would have liked. So when we reported a couple of weeks ago that Hyundai had revealed a couple of new engines in Korea – a 204bhp turbo and a 150bhp diesel – we rather hoped that Hyundai would see fit to bolt both in to the Veloster sooner rather than later.
