Lincoln MKC Revealed. It’s NOT a titivated Ford Kuga/Escape, say Ford

The production version of the Lincoln MKC Compact SUV (pictured) has been revealed When Ford divested itself of its premier marques – Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover – it left it with little wriggle room to compete in anything but the mainstream car market. Ford in Europe is trying to address that by launching ‘Vignale’ badged cars which promise to offer more ‘Premium quality’ than its mainstream models, and Ford in the US is doing the same thing by trying to reinvent the Lincoln badge as the answer to German premium models. 2104 Mercedes C-Class: First exterior photos leak

Mercedes started to tease the 2014 C-Class last week, followed quickly by the first official interior photos of the new C-Class. Now we get the first leaked photo of the exterior. Looking very much like an evolution of the current C-Class – but with overtones of both the CLA and new S-Class – the new C-Class is going to have to be special to compete not only with the BMW 3 Series but also Mercedes own A-Class range.

Range Rover Sport ploughs into basement flat

This supercharged Range Rover Sport found itself stuck between a brick and a hard place when it crashed into a basement flat in Fitzrovia, central London. The driver, who was unhurt in this week's accident, unintentionally tested the Range Rover's off-road credentials in a freak incident, which left the 2.5-tonne SUV stuck between a house wall and some railings in the posh London street.
