Top Gear: Ferrari 458, Jeff Goldblum & British Sports Cars – last in series

Sun, 01 Aug 2010

Top Gear Tonight - Jeff Goldblum and British Sports Cars Looks like this will be the last of the ‘What’s on Top Gear Tonight’ pieces to keep you on the ball on a Sunday to at least remember to set the Sky+ (too late for the little green button now). We were convinced there was another in series 15 after this week. Must have been that lost weekend we had.

Top Gear Tonight: Ferrari F12, BAC Mono, Ron Howard & the world’s best taxi

Sun, 07 Jul 2013

Jeremy drives the BAC Mono (pictured) in tonight’s Top Gear Tonight’s second episode of series 20 of Top Gear gets back to the usual format. The new reasonably priced car is in action for the first time as film director Ron Howard – who’s just done Rush, which chronicles the rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauder during the 1976 F1 season – gets behind the wheel of the Vauxhall Astra to set a lap, talk about cars and his new film. Jeremy Clarkson gets to play with the stunning Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, which with 731bhp, 0-62mph of just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 211mph should induce more than a grin or two from Jezza as he takes to the roads of Scotland.

Hyundai releases second-generation Genesis renders

Thu, 24 Oct 2013

Hyundai's second-generation Genesis has been previewed in new renders ahead of its full reveal in Korea later this year. The Genesis, which will hit the carmaker's stand at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in January, is the first model developed with Hyundai's new ‘Fluidic Sculpture 2.0' design language. It features several cues seen on the HCD-14 Genesis concept, unveiled at this year's NAIAS, such as the sharp shoulder line and the single-frame hexagonal grille design. In fact, it's nearly unchanged from the beltline up. At the rear, the sweeping roofline flows to a short trunk lid while the rear lamps wrap around from the tailgate into the rear-quarter panels.
