Searching for vintage car parts, literature, gas station collectables, or even a nice old car? The best place to look is the annual Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Fall National Meet, better known as “Hershey.” Now in its 55th year, it's the world's largest old car gathering, with an 1,800-car concours, more than 1,000 cars for sale in the “car corral,” and, best of all, an astounding 9,000 flea market spaces, chock full of more automotive artifacts than you can imagine, all scattered in no particular order on 85-plus acres--that's nearly 90 football fields--or “22 miles of aisles,” as Hershey devotees say. 2010 Chevrolet Equinox gets price cut from GM

The 2010 Chevrolet Equinox will carry a base price of $23,185, including its delivery fee, when the crossover goes on sale in June. The restyled, re-engineered Equinox will cost $1,800 less than the previous generation, Ed Peper, vice president of Chevrolet, said today in a statement. General Motors has said it hopes the Equinox will get 30 mpg highway, up from 24 mpg on the base model of the 2009 version.

Driving 'too pricey' for the young

A THIRD of young people say driving is not too expensive and they will not bother to learn to drive or buy a car. A study of 17- to 25-year olds found a third (35%) had decided against driving or owning a car because of the expense involved. Many cited the cost of driving lessons as a disincentive and they also believe it is cheaper to use public transport than own a car themselves.
