2001 Mercury 25 hp two stroke outboard with 20" shaft and electric start. Features manual pull start as well. This outboard is set up for remote control installation with cable steering. All original and in great shape. Just test run and compression tested (see photos).

We just test ran it and it starts and runs perfectly. It shifts in and out of gear as it should, pumps plenty of water, runs cool and idles perfectly. The compression in both cyliders is 105 lbs exactly. There is little corrosion anywhere The paint on the entire engine is original and in good shape. Hood has a few wear areas but nothing serious.

Remote side mount controls available but not included. The propeller shown is the original and included in sale.

This is a clean and good running engine that will provide you with reliable power.

Didn’t they do well!? Fiat has just announced that, despite the doom and gloom in the car world in 2008, particularly in the last quarter, they have had their best year ever, with their trading profit up by 4% and turnover by 1.5% to €60 billion. Well done them.
