Up for sale a 2001 Polaris RMK 800 151 rear suspension / skid frame. This suspension was removed from a running sled and is in good working condition. The idler wheels all spin smooth and freely and are in decent shape. The hyfax could be replaced soon, but the rails are straight and free of cracks. There is some rust and a dent in the front arm (it was ridden like this for several years and didn't affect performance).

Feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking!

Audi A5 Sportback preview (w/ Video)

Wed, 17 Jun 2009

Audi has revealed a teaser image and sketch of the forthcoming A5 Sportback, which is scheduled to make its debut at the Frankfurt motor show in September. Though the core design of the production car is similar to the Sportback show car unveiled at the NAIAS in Detroit at the start of this year, it will be smaller in size. Coined a 'five-door coupe' by the Ignolstadt-based automaker, the Sportback features a spoiler lip and a diffuser insert integrated into its elongated rear end.

The Michigan Department of Transportation and Michigan International Speedway have joined forces to help in the development of a connected-vehicle system. In the future, it will help cars communicate with each other on the road to avoid crashes and increase safety. The speedway, located in Brooklyn, Mich., will allow organizations such as the Connected Vehicle Proving Center and the Center for Automotive Research to use the track as a test road for the new technology.

Treasures from West Germany lurk at Sonoma Raceway

Fri, 04 Apr 2014

In my role of Chief Justice of the 24 Hours of LeMons Supreme Court, I travel to Sonoma Raceway, aka Sears Point, at least twice per year. Most of the time I'm there, I'm stuck disciplining miscreant racers with incomprehensible penalties, but every so often I slip away in my Race Organizer Review car to shoot some action photos of the competitors. A good area for shooting LeMons cars is from the access road that runs parallel to the track between turn 10 and turn 11, and getting there takes me past an area of shops and garages… and I always spot some interesting cars parked there.
