Kia’s offering today comes in the ‘Concept’ category, but we hope it ends up in the ‘New Car’ category before long.
Fiat 500 Coupe Zagato (2011) at Geneva motor show
Thu, 03 Mar 2011Fiat surprised the Geneva audience with a Zagato-bodied variation on the familiar new 500 theme. It looks strikingly different at first sight, but the Coupe Zagato is based on the existing 500 platform. The differences mainly concern a modified lower roofline, bearing the traditional Zagato double-hump roof contours and rear window/C-pillar treatment. The standard 500 interior has been retrimmed in black and yellow leather to match the ‘Pop Yellow’ exterior hue.

If there’s one thing that separates ’New Jaguar’ from ‘Old Jaguar’ it’s their willingness to embrace every opportunity to positively promote their cars at every possible turn and in every possible way. The launch of the new XJ properly started the new style of PR offensives when Jaguar managed to release what seemed like a thousand teasers for their new big Cat before we’d even seen it in the flesh, and that was a full year before the first new XJs even hit Jaguar showrooms.
