Nissan cars awaiting export wrecked by Tsunami In the wake of the devastating earthquake and Tsunami that struck Japan last week, the domestic car industry has ground to a halt. Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Mitsubishi have all now said they are halting all production until at least Wednesday in order to allow time to address damage, and to allow staff to make contact with family in affected areas. Penske's plan for Saturn: Sell Samsung vehicles

Entrepreneur Roger Penske wants to use the Saturn dealership network to sell vehicles built by Renault Samsung Motors and imported from South Korea. According to Automotive News, Penske recently met with Renault and Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn in Paris to talk about the plan. Renault owns 80.1 percent of Renault Samsung.

2011 Chevrolet Camaro discovers more power--now it has 312 hp

Chevrolet has found an additional 8 hp for V6 versions of the 2011 Camaro, power that likely has been there all along. The direct-injection 3.6-liter engine with VVT is now rated at 312 hp, up from last year’s 304 hp. Chevy didn’t actually do anything to the engine.
