This is a SERVICE to repair a part YOU ship to us here at BBA Reman.

Common Symptoms of a Faulty Unit: Most common problems reported with these are Throttle Position Sensor errors. The most common part numbers we repair included - 8644344, 36001821, 8644347, 36001822, 8644346, 9136793, 9186793, 9207831, 9497244, and many more. With these, if the tag is white, when you get your throttle back you will have to have the dealer perform the ETM Reload on them. If the tag is yellow, you can just re-install it and you're good to go. Please call us with any questions at 1-866-573-2740.  

Part number 8644345 is NOT repairable. 
We cannot service yours if this is the part number.  

How does the a "Repair Service" work?  After BBA Reman receives your payment information, we will email you a shipping label to your email address. We only ship within the USA. You print that label and package up your part then ship it to us. We are closed on weekends, but otherwise the shipping label will be emailed to you within 24 hours. 

How long will it take?  Repairs take 2-4 business days once we get the part here and then add shipping time back and forth to your location. 

How do I package the unit? As these units contain delicate electronics and can be damaged in shipping, we recommend that you use a large box (so that there are about 3 inches of extra space on each side), wrap the unit in a layer of bubble wrap and fill in the extra spaces with packing peanuts.

Lifetime Warranty

The BBA Limited Lifetime Warranty covers the repair of your unit back to its original operating condition for any problems resulting from manufacturing or workmanship defects. All internal components and labor performed by BBA are fully covered. It is valid as long as you own the vehicle and is non-transferable. Shipping, removal, diagnostic, coding, programming, software download, and/or mechanic charges are not covered by the warranty. If BBA determines the part is beyond repair, we will either provide a replacement unit, or refund the entire purchase price, at our discretion. Factors that could void the warranty include, but are not limited to: water damage, fire damage, over voltage damage, part being damaged as a result of another defective part in the vehicle, damage caused by jump starting the vehicle, improper use, use in an application for which the part was not intended, or untimely return of core unit (if applicable).

Not all parts can be fixed. If your part is not repairable, we will refund your payment and ship it back to you. If you send in an item that does not match the one in the description, we will again refund your payment and ship it back to you. For more information, call us: 1-866-573-2740

BMW ‘reveals’ new EfficientDynamics prototype

BMW has established a Web site called www.dontblogabouthis.com with the express purpose of revealing a prototype being used to test a new gasoline-electric driveline earmarked for a future sports car. It’s expected to be launched in 2012 as part of BMW’s EfficientDynamics program. Featuring two short videos and four photographs of a 6-series based prototype, the Web site provides no additional information about the prototype other than to suggest that the car in question is “more than a 6-series”and is “not in its final stage.” Close inspection reveals the matte black BMW mule has a new front end resembling that of the one-off EfficientDynamics concept revealed at last year’s Frankfurt motor show.

Ford B-MAX off to a strong start in UK

The new Ford B-Max compact people carrier is off to a strong sales start in the UK, with 1,000 already delivered to customers. And that eye-catching advert (we’ve posted it below – Ford in Europe need all the help they can get to garner sales!) will no doubt raise awareness of the long-awaited replacement for the old Fiesta-based Fusion MPV and help make the B-Max a success for Ford in a segment they once dominated, but which they’d left to wither on the vine. But eye-catching  advert for the new B-Max or not, the B-Max is already selling well with over 1,000 cars delivered to customers in the last few weeks and orders for 2500 cars received by Ford in the UK before the B-Max even appeared in showrooms.
