Condition:Used

Transmission removed from a 2001 yamaha Raptor 660R.  Tranny was in great working condition.  Cleaned and ready for use.  All gears, shafts, shift forks (cam followers & pawls), guide bars, shift cam/drum grooves, and gear dogs are in great shape!  This is probably the most complete transmission set you will find.  ...even includes the reverse shift shaft lockout arm.

Parting out the entire machine.  Let me know if you need anything else.  Thanks!

Vauxhall Corsa Black & White Limited Edition launches

The Vauxhall Corsa Black & White We know that Limited Edition cars shift metal in quiet times. GM closes UK Advanced Design Studio

Clay Dean, GM's executive director of advanced global design and Cadillac's brand director, arrived at the studio on 4 August to announce the closure to staff. The UK studio, which opened in 1999, was predominantly involved in the creation of Cadillac concept cars and was originally planned to be a short-term confidential operation as the smallest of GM's design studios.

Best Western Hotels rolling out EV charging points in the UK

Sun, 26 May 2013

We’re electric car sceptics – or at least sceptical about their ability to replace the ICE car as our principal form of personal transport – although EVs do have their place as runarounds in urban areas, where their limited range isn’t really a factor. But taking your EV off for a weekend jaunt does pose logistical problems when the average range is probably no more than 80 miles, and something worth making the effort for a weekend away is almost always going to be further away than that. But a bit of smart marketing by Best Western Hotels – a group of 270 or so independently run hotels round the UK – means EV drivers will soon be able to plot their weekend away on the basis of Best Western Hotels en route, with Best Western planning on fitting EV charging points in their car parks, with half their hotels having free charging points by September.
