Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione Ferrari has had a play with the track-only 599xx, added more power and improved aerodynamics and created the ultimate 599 – the Ferrari 599XX Evoluzione. There are road Ferraris and there are track Ferraris. And the Ferrari 599XX carries on the tradition of hard-core track-only cars for wealthy clients (like the FXX) where ultimate performance is achieved by ignoring homologation rules for any race.

McLaren 650s Configurator goes live

The McLaren 650S Configurator The new McLaren 650S arrived at the Geneva Motor Show last week – and as the 650S Spider too – and looks, and performs, far better than the 12C. That seems to point to the McLaren 12C being allowed to whither on the vine as McLaren’s customers opt for the new 650S instead of the 12C – even with a price difference heading towards £20k – although officially you can still buy a 12C (although we hear 12C production has been halted). We hear McLaren have already built a number of 650S models and now they’ve even got the 650S Configurator up on their website so customers – and dreamers – can spec up their new 650S.

Show Review: 100% Design Tokyo

Tokyo held its design week late last year, overlapping with the tail-end of the auto show. Though thankfully easier to get to than that, what you get is a bit different to expectations. Japanese are noted for the effort they give presentation: it's in their dress, their language, in how they wrap gifts in stores and serve food in restaurants.
