Jaguar XF Sportbrake: Official

Wed, 29 Feb 2012

The Jaguar XF Sportbrake finally arrives After months of teasing and spy shots the 2012 Jaguar XF Sportbrake is finally revealed ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week. Jaguar has managed to get almost as much pre-launch publicity from the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake as they did from the year-long launch of the XJ. From ‘official’ spy shots to XF Sportbrake Christmas cards via their @sportbrake Twitter account, they certainly covered all the PR bases.

First Jaguar F-Type customer cars leave Jaguar’s Castle Bromwich

Fri, 10 May 2013

The first proper sports car from Jaguar since the E-Type ended production almost 40 years ago (and it could be argued the later V12 E-Types were more a GT than a proper sports car), the F-Type is a hook to hang Jaguar’s future intent on – and it seems to be making a pretty good fist of it. It may not be cheap (you’ll pay £80k for a V8 F-Type) and it may be heavier than its lightweight aluminium underpinnings promise, but it looks great, goes very well and seems to have proper Jaguar ‘Soul’. A winning combination.

New Range Rover Sport in New York

Wed, 08 Apr 2009

And the big news with the Range Rover Sport is really under the skin. Out goes the old supercharged 4.2 and the somewhat breathless 2.7 diesel, and in comes the brute of a 5.0 litre supercharged lump from Jaguar that has also gone in to the new Range Rover (and the LR4 – but not for the UK – why not?), and the terrific 3.0 litre diesel that also graces the Jaguar.
