We have to remove the rest of the bolt on parts to keep the motor under 150lbs so it is shippable still, so examine the photos to see what you will need from your old motor. Mercedes-Benz is set to join forces with Renault in a deal aimed at providing its underdeveloped Smart division with a contemporary-engineered front-engine/front-wheel-drive platform as the basis for a frugal new Forfour model. The new Smart, due out in 2013, is planned to sit on a lightly modified version of the Renault Twingo’s underpinnings, complete with a 93.3-inch wheelbase. Jaguar XF Range & Rover Evoque to be assembled in India The news that Jaguar Land Rover are planning to assemble the Range Rover Evoque and Jaguar XF in India isn’t exactly a huge surprise. If anything, the surprise is it’s taken this long for them to get round to it. Of course, this isn’t JLR’s first foray in to assembling cars in India, as the Freelander 2 is now being bolted together in Pune now the CKD facility at Halewood is up and running.
