Jeep Altitude models debut in spring

The Altitude came to be through a contest Jeep held two years ago around the time of the Houston Auto Show.

The car was designated the 8V, or Otto Vu in Italian, because Fiat had mistakenly thought that Ford held a trademark on V8.
