Wed, 05 Mar 2014

By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 05 March 2014 11:00 There’s a wildly diverse crop of new hatches at the 2014 Geneva motor show: a rear-drive city car, a firecracker of a crossover, new concept cars and even a lap time world record holder. Here are CAR’s Top 5 hatches of the 2014 Geneva show – and the customary dishonourable mention… The Mazda Hazumi concept is essentially what the new Mazda2 will look like when it hits showrooms – and it’s set to give the mainstream makes a proper fight. Exclusive: Bertone BAT 11 unveiled

Wed, 05 Mar 2008

For the first time in over 50 years, Bertone sadly did not have a stand at this year's Geneva Show, largely due to the severe financial difficulties facing the company. However, that didn't stop them making a surprise debut at the first AutoDesignNight last night in Geneva with the amazing BAT 11 concept, commissioned by American enthusiast Gary Kaberle who owned the original 1955 BAT 9 car. The car was exclusively unveiled before an audience of 400 of the world's top designers at an evening reception at La Sip nightclub in the heart of the city.

The Citroen Lacoste Concept - A Gallic Mini Moke? You would be entirely forgiven for taking one look at the photo at the top and deciding it was a another over the top Golf Buggy for golfers with more money than taste (no, I’m not going there). But if it’s not a mad golf buggy there’s only on other thing it could be – a daft concept from Citroen; a speciality of the French maker, especially at their home Motor Show.
