Highway Code to be rewritten for driverless cars
Mon, 09 Jun 2014Government ministers have admitted that the current rules of the roadas laid out in the Highway Code, will be inadequate when a new generation of cars which drive themselves arrive in the near future. Science minister David Willetts told the Daily Mail that he is in talks with the Department for Transport about rewriting the law to allow cars on UK roads without anyone in the driving seat. And for 2012, Toyota has hung on to its top automotive brand gong with a brand value of $30.28 billion.
