Chrysler unveils new ads to follow 'Halftime in America' campaign

A quartet of 60-second spots from the Chrysler/Fiat group launching this weekend comprises the next installment of the automaker's campaign that began famously during the Super Bowl with the two-minute "Halftime in America" commercial. Or, as Chrysler terms it, this is "the second half." The spots, all the work of ad agency Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, each aimed at a different company brand, are themed to the same "hope and encouragement" message delivered by Clint Eastwood in the campaign's first incarnation and continue the spirit of the "Imported from Detroit" motto. Saab 9-4X Revealed It’s nice to see that Saab are getting back to being a maker of cars rather than a pawn of GM, and the reveal this afternoon of the Saab 9-4X marks the second new model in 2010 for Saab, even though both the Saab 9-5 and the Saab 9-4X have been on the horizon for what seems like forever. And, of course, after years (buried) under the GM umbrella  Saab’s products are going to be GM based, at least for now. So what we have with the Saab 904X is a Saab-ised Cadillac SRX, but that’s not too bad a thing.

Kia Ceed (2012) first official pictures

The first Kia Ceed, launched in 2006, signalled a step change for the Korean car company. Not only was it designed and built in Europe (in Germany and Slovakia respectively) but it was also good enough to be considered a worthy rival for the Focus, Golf, Astra et al. From Soul to Optima, from Picanto to Rio, nearly everything that's followed has been good or great.
