New Mercedes C-Class INTERIOR revealed

The more upmarket interior of the 23014 Mercedes C-Class We had the first video tease for the 2014 Mercedes C-Class over the weekend, which didn’t show us very much at all. But now we get the first official photos of the interior of the new C-Class, months before its due to debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January. With a need to put clean air between the new C-Class and the A-Class and its CLA derivative, Mercedes are planning to make the interioor of the enw C-Class more upmarket than previously, although it would seem there’s more than a passing family resemblance to the new CLA in the new C-Class’s cabin.

Nissan Townpod concept preview

Nissan has just released this image of its new Townpod concept, which offers insight into how the brand could expand its portfolio of zero-emission vehicles. It will be displayed at the Paris motor show.  Designed to offer zero-emissions mobility to a future generation of home-based, innovative entrepreneurs who are creative and tech-savvy, the Townpod "combines eye-catching design with a spacious and practical interior," Nissan says. "[It's] more than just a car and it's more than just a van – it heralds a new-era of flexible, stylish vehicles that will bring electric-vehicle mobility to the masses." Nissan design chief Shiro Nakamura talks style with AW

Nissan's design chief Shiro Nakamura stopped by One AutoWeek Tower on Friday afternoon during his visit to Detroit to share some insight on current and future styling trends for his company. Nakamura, who is best known to enthusiasts for his work on the GT-R, says the current state of design is relatively strong, and the business may be on the verge of another golden age. Nissan is also pondering the look of a version of the Leaf for its luxury Infiniti brand.
