Stolen Jaguar E-Type returned to owner after 46 years
Thu, 18 Sep 2014A Jaguar E-Type that was stolen from outside its owner’s New York apartment in 1968 will be returned to its rightful custodian 46 years after the car first went missing. DP stands for Design Prototype and this concept car is destined to remain a digital only experience for now; it joins the other digital prototypes created for the popular computer game's 15th anniversary. Polyphony, the maker of Gran Turismo, is launching an anniversary edition of GT6 with 20 exclusive cars from the likes of Aston Martin and Mercedes-Benz.
Jaguar F-Type to get V8 engine option
Tue, 01 May 2012The Jaguar F-Type will get a V8 powerplant in addition to a supercharged V6 when it launches in 2013, Autoweek has learned. The much-anticipated two-seat sports car was confirmed in April at the New York auto show. Jaguar then elaborated weeks later at the Beijing motor show that the F-Type would get a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 pushing out 380 hp.
