Rolls Royce Wraith Drophead Coupe confirmed for production.
Sun, 03 Nov 2013The Rolls Royce Wraith (pictured) will get a Drophead sibling in 2016 It was always likely that Rolls Royce would take their ‘affordable’ model – the RR Ghost – and make a coupe version. What wasn’t really on the cards is that they would give it a more dramatic style – and a more driver-focused experience – and tag a name from the past on it to create a new Rolls Royce Wraith for the 21st century. But that’s exactly what they’ve done, and the Wraith does seem to be an effective tool for Rolls Royce to extend the appeal of their cars to a new, perhaps younger, demographic.
2012 Kia cee’d revealed
Wed, 15 Feb 2012The 2012 Kia cee’d debuts at Geneva After a single photo of the 2012 Kia cee’d in January, Kia now reveals its new cee’d ahead of a Geneva debut. Just like sibling Hyundai, Kia is on the up and the new 2012 Kia cee’d promises another jump in quality and appeal when it arrives in the UK in June after a public debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next month. We had one photo of the new Kia cee’d last month, but now Kia has really pushed the boat out and sent us a whole four photos of their new Golf-sized offering.
Lincoln MKT concept
Mon, 14 Jan 2008By Liz Turner First Official Pictures 14 January 2008 17:27 Ford’s Geordie design boss, Peter Horbury is working hard to return long-neglected Lincoln from a brand driven by old ladies with poodles to the kind of luxury car presidents might ride (or get assassinated) in. The T in MKT stands for Touring, and he says: ‘When I think of touring, I imagine long journeys in extreme comfort.’ So passengers sit in seats inspired by the first-class cabin of an aircraft, surrounded by fine wood, leather and silk. It’s guilt-free luxury, though.
