Removed from my Boxster I recently purchased, upon removal of the seat foam I discovered that the foam was still good. The plastic frame that supports the foam is not sufficient. I added a piece of sheet metal and attached with zip ties to support the foam (see photos). If I had not already purchased a new seat foam I would have re-installed the seat foam that I have for sale. There are seperations between the side wings and the bottom, but this is because the foam dropped due to no support, I don't think it is a factor in re installation.

Driving Toyota's Pro/Celebrity Scion FR-S race cars

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

At the Streets of Willow Springs, there's a back straightaway that crests over a downhill and into a series of sudden, unsettling left turns. It's one of the most dramatic parts of the track, one that always trips up timid run groups. And as it turns out, heading blindly at 90 miles per hour, skimming the cones of the artificial chicane normally designed to slow lesser drivers who aren't Formula Drift prodigy Ken Gushi, will really put the fear of mortality into anyone who's signed up to ride shotgun -- especially when the car is the brand-new Scion FR-S race car for Toyota's Pro/Celebrity Race Series, here on its first outing.

Thu, 20 Aug 2009

Tesla has released new images of the Tesla Roadster Sport as the order book opens But despite the hype on the Tesla Model S earlier in the year, the next model to arrive will be the Tesla Roadster Sport – a beefed up version of the current Roadster. And Tesla are ramping up the awareness by releasing the new pictures you see here. The Roadster Sport gets 15% more peak power that the standard Roadster, which should propel the little Roadster to 60 mph in around 3.7 seconds, which is no mean feat, despite the Roadster’s dinky dimensions.
