2002 Yamaha Sx Viper Engine / Motor (700cc Triple) on 2040-parts.com
Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States
I have decided to part out my 2002 700 Viper. First up for auction is the excellent running engine. It is very clean and has 5,200 original miles. It has never been rebuilt and the compression is 110/120/120 (#1 is lower from the factory). It has been run exclusively on Yamalube 2S its entire life (good stuff). The only modification is a Bender / Opticool head gasket which I installed myself. It provides more even cooling compared to the OEM head gasket, and it is a pretty common upgrade for owners who care about their machines. This auction includes only the engine block; which is the cases, crank, cylinders, pistons, and head. It does not include the intake manifolds, mounts, reeds, exhaust valves, carburetors, exhaust manifold, primary clutch, stator, stator, or flywheel. These items will be available separately after the block sells (I can package them together). The motor is still in my sled (see pictures) so you are welcome to stop by and check it out, and let me know if you need more parts than just the long block. Free shipping does NOT apply to Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as I have it listed for sale locally as well. Please ask all questions prior to bidding as I do not accept returns for any reason.

Porsche 911 RS models through the ages – on video
Fri, 26 Mar 2010By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 26 March 2010 06:35 Porsche GB has issued a rather cool video detailing the history of the 911 RS models – filmed in situ at the new Porsche Experience Centre in Silverstone.Unlike most corporate videos, this one is remarkably free of commercial sells – although we should remember its presenter will be a tad biased! But we're posting it here because we reckon it's a great video guide to the most hardcore of 911s, tracing the history of the lightweight Renn Sport specials all the way back from the 1973 original up to the present day.>> Rip-off or rip-rorting? Peugeot RCZ confirmed
Tue, 14 Jul 2009Peugeot has confirmed that the Peugeot RCZ will be at Frankfurt in September Peugeot has announced that the Peugeot RCZ (they’re not bothering with the ’308′ bit) will finally hit the roads in Spring 2010. It took a while. Which should mean the RCZ is well and truly sorted, or will it just mean it’s out of date before it even goes on sale?
Rolls Royce Ghost Series II – the Ghost facelift: Geneva Motor Show
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The Rolls Royce Ghost Series II (pictured) debuted at Geneva When Rolls Royce gives one of their cars a rare facelift it becomes the ‘Series II’, and that’s exactly what we get at Geneva today with the reveal of the facelift for the Ghost – the Rolls Royce Ghost Series II. Perhaps the most noticeable cosmetic change is the new headlights which make the front look less square and get daytime running lights round the edge,a revised RR grill with slightly more curved uprights, revised bumpers, extra chrome highlights and a new channel running up the bonnet from the Spirit of Ecstacy. Inside, Rolls Royce has added new electric seats in the back which can be angled towards one another, new voice control, and a new touch-sensitive controller for the 102″ Infotainment screen. Extra choices of veneer are now on offer as is even more extended leather.
