Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon and SRX (2009): first pictures
Fri, 15 Aug 2008By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 15 August 2008 10:27 Against the backdrop of this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California, Cadillac has pulled the wraps off two bold new models – its CTS Sport Wagon and the CRX crossover. The two cars mark a decade of Cadillac’s distinctive ‘Art and Science’ design theme – and they’re as edgy and creased as you’d expect. The company intends to notify current owners and dealers early next year that it will make the warranty retroactive to cover all existing Leafs, offering to repair or replace the car’s lithium-ion battery if it loses more than 30 percent of its ability to hold a charge after five years or 60,000 miles.

Andy Thomas, who led last year's redesign of CAR with art editor Andy Franklin, collected the prize at the magazine industry's annual ceremony in the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, London. CAR is no stranger to the PPA's top design silverware - we won the same award two years ago.
