In most cases you will have to reuse your manifolds and switches from your original compressor. The reasoning is 1 compressor can fit numerous vehicles and not one manifold and or switch fits all vehicles. In order to recieve a warranty compressor the following parts and procedure must have been replaced. 1.The accumulator/drier MUST be replaced any time the a/c system has been opened. If this part has not been replaced upon compressor replacement warranty is void. 2.If the system was a catastrophic failure. Accumulator/drier, orifice tube and or expansion device, and condensor MUST be replaced as well as a complete system flush. Kia is touting the 2014 Forte as the least expensive in its class, and the compact sedan does in fact cost $80 less than the redesigned 2013 Nissan Sentra at $16,780, $90 less than the new 2013 Dodge Dart at $16,790 and $225 less than the 2013 Ford Focus sedan at $16,995. The new price is a slight increase from the 2013 model, which cost $16,175 after shipping charges.
