Ferrari posts record sales despite economic uncertainty
Thu, 13 Sep 2012Global economic waters are far from calm, but Ferrari has managed to steer clear of the turmoil. Revenues for the first half of the year are up nearly 12 percent, and net profits have risen 10 percent to over $130 million.
Google reveals its first self-driving car prototype (video)
Wed, 28 May 2014Google’s first self-driving car prototype (pictured) Google might not be the first company that springs to mind as a car maker, but Tesla has already proved that Silicon Valley can produce a car that buyers want and Google are intent on following a similar route. For the last few years, Google has been experimenting with existing cars kitted out with self-driving gubbins, but now they’ve taken the next step and built their own self-driving prototype.
Suzuki to unveil 'S-Cross' in Paris
Mon, 17 Sep 2012Suzuki has revealed a teaser image of its new S-Cross concept car which the automaker will be debuting at next week's Paris motor show. The S-Cross, which indicates an impending C-segment crossover model, is designed to represent a theme of "Emotion x Quality x Aerodynamics" through the use of distinctive dynamic lines that flow from the front fender across the doors and end at the rear of the body. Suzuki have left us with very little else to go on, and so we'll have to wait until next week's show to find out more.
