Next generation BMW 6 Series Preview

Thu, 26 Feb 2009

Rendering of the next generation (2010) BMW 6 Series - a sleeker and lower car than the current generation Not due until late 2010, the next generation 6 Series looks set to be a lower, sleeker car than the current model. In fact, it looks like BMW may have found a use for a lot of the work they did on the shelved BMW CS project, which was to be BMW’s A7/CLS challenger until the project was shelved a few months ago. Current opinion is that the next generation Convertible will stick with the rag-top, but recent spy shots seem to show a pretty bulky roof camouflage, leading to speculation that BMW may go the folding tin-top roof with the next generation 6-series.

Cadillac Elmiraj (2013) at Frankfurt motor show

Fri, 16 Aug 2013

Designed as an American take on the Mercedes S-class coupe format, the Elmiraj stands 5.2m long and seats four passengers in an opulent cabin. The car also sports Cadillac’s new ‘V Sport’ moniker, which will feature across the Cadillac range soon, copying the success of BMW’s M Sport models, and Audi S-line cars. Tell me more about the Cadillac Elmiraj Beneath that long bonnet is a 4.5-litre V8 boosted by twin turbochargers, developing 493bhp and 500lb ft.

Porsche has built 25,000 Panamers in the first year of production Big, exotic cars tend not to sell in big numbers. Annual production in the low thousands is usually as much as you’re likely to see from a supercar and once you get to hypercar levels you can be talking single digit annual production. They’re the rules.
