2003-2007 F350 6.0L powerstroke Roda Deaco Valve (emergency shut off), goes on the cold intercooler pipe and operates off a switch to cut off the air supply to the motor.

This came off my truck- I have no need for it- works with no issues-

All wiring supplied including switch.

The manual electric overspeed protection shutdown system uses a manual toggle switch to trigger a manual closure of the air intake shutoff valve.

Excellent for those working in oil and gas to prevent runaway engines.

There are cases where flammable materials get drawn into the air intake system of the engine resulting to ungovernable fuel supply into it.

This results into a condition that is generally known as an engine runaway, with results ranging from catastrophic explosions to complete engine damages.

How do you prevent a runaway?

If you turn off an engine with a runaway issue, then you are only turning off the standard source of fuel to it. If the inflammable material is still in the engine, then ungoverned additional fuel supply still goes on.

The problematic engine fuel issue can’t be stopped the normal way.

It can only be stopped by the use of a valve system that completely shuts off the air intake. The system fully shuts down the runaway diesel engine.

Gilles, recently named head of SRT, is charged with rebuilding the SRT unit, which languished when Chrysler was owned by Cerberus Capital Management. Three new SRT vehicles, versions of the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 sedans and the Jeep Grand Cherokee, will arrive in dealerships this fall, joining the Challenger SRT8.

Why we won't be running CDNLive coverage from the Beijing motor show

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

Over the last couple of years we've grown our CDNLive motor show coverage from the world's most important motor shows, in an effort to bring you closer to all the new cars and news as well as highlighting some of the things you might miss. It's one of our the key content streams that we feel sets us apart from the deluge of auto show coverage. However as you can imagine it also takes a huge amount of time and effort, not to mention a good internet connection.

2013 Aston Martin DB9 – Virage Vanquished

Wed, 19 Sep 2012

Aston Martin has given the DB9 a makeover – a facelift and a bit more – for 2013 as the tweaked DB9 signals the end of the Virage. But all is not lost with the Virage, as the 2013 DB9 gets a Virage makeover – inside and out as well as more power from its V12 and the addition of Aston Martin’s adaptive damping. The 5.9 litre V12 engine under the new DB9′s bonnet now offers 510bhp and 442lb/ft of torque – more than the Virage managed to muster – and is much the same as the revised AM11 V12 we see in the new Vanquish but with a bit less power.
