2003 225HP YAMAHA FOUR STROKE OUTBOARD MOTOR WITH A 30" SHAFT. MATCHING COUNTER ROTATING MOTOR AVAILABLE IF YOU A PAIR THE AUCTION INCLUDES THE MOTOR ONLY. IF YOU NEED RIGGING PLEASE CONTACT ME. THIS MOTOR IS A 3.3LITRE FOUR STROKE, FUEL INJECTED OUTBOARD WITH POWER TRIM AND TILT. THESE YAMAHA 225HP MOTOR HAVE GOOD POWER AND ARE EXTREMELY RELIABLE. THEY CAN HANDLE UPWARDS OF 5000-6000 HOURS WITHOUT ISSUE. THIS MOTOR WAS PART OF A PAIR THAT WERE ACQUIRED LOCALLY. THEY CAME IN TRADE TOWARDS NEW F250 YAMAHA FOUR STROKES. IT WAS USED ON A JUPITER. THEY HAVE 1500 HOURS. POWERHEADS WERE REMOVED AND MIDSECTIONS AND BLOCKS WERE INSPECTED. THE MIDS HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY CHANGED AND THE BOTTOM OF THE EXHAUST ON THE BLOCK SIDE WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THESE MOTORS SHOULD BE PROBLEM FREE FOR A LONG TIME. MECHANICALLY YOU COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE. COMPRESSION WAS 185-190 PER CYLINDER. IT FIRES RIGHT UP, PUMPS GOOD WATER , IDLES CRISP AND SOUND EXCELLENT WHEN YOU RAP THE THROTTLE. COSMETICALLY IT LOOKS GREAT. PAINT WAS SUN FADED SO WE SHOT IT WITH TWO STAGE EPOXY AND APPLIED NEW DECALS. POWERHEAD IS CLEAN. THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE MOTOR WILL DEFINITELY MAKE THE NEW OWNER PROUD. CREDIT CARDS ARE FOR DEPOSITS ONLY. PAYMENT ACCEPTED VIA CHECK, CASH IN PERSON AND BANK TO BANK WIRES. Tue, 30 Apr 2013But much of that will probably depend on real buyers stumping up real money to get on the waiting list for a car we still don’t know a great deal about (in particular what underpins it) but which does look good and manages to encompass Spyker’s traditional styling cues whilst still conspiring to look very current. Now, buried amongst the latest financial report from Spyker – which shows no real turnover or profit, loans in to shares and an injection of cash from Youngman – comes the news that Victor is already getting a bit ahead of himself again with plans to reveal the B6 Venator Spyder later this year. That looks a bit of a ‘run before you can walk’ scenario for Spyker - especially as Victor says production of the C8 Aileron will gather pace this year and the D8 Peking-to-Paris SUV will be a priority – but if Spyker can produce a Venator Spyder that looks as good as the coupe it may be the right way forward.
