Flying Baldini Brothers take grand prize in Autoweek America Adventure

After five days of food, fun and friendly competition, the big prize in the Autoweek America Adventure was in the Mopar booth at the Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas: a limited-edition 2011 Mopar Dodge Charger. The daily winners on the adventure collected a key fob, and one of them would start the Charger. Team Roe Racing was the overall high-point winner for the challenge.

Megane Renaultsport 265 Trophy and the Nurburgring crew First we get the news that Renault has pushed out a limited edition Megane Renaulsport – the Megane Renaulsport 265 Trophy with a slightly tweaked and titivated version of the Megane Renaultsport 250 – and now we get the follow-up publicity with the claim of a new Nurburgring record for the brisk Megane. This isn’t a record that’s quite as daft as some of the records that are claimed for the Nurburgring (there almost seems to be a specific category of ‘Record’ time to fit every car maker’s needs), but it does seem a bit obscure. Subaru prices WRX STI Special Edition at $35,565

The 2013 Subaru WRX Special Edition will cost $29,565 including a $770 destination charge while the upgraded WRX STI Special Edition will come in at $35,565 when they arrive at dealerships in spring. The Special Edition costs $500 more than the next highest-priced WRX trim. All Special Editions will wear an orange-and-black paint scheme with black painted wheels, black front fender badging and black exterior mirrors.
