Aston Martin Shop – at the Nurburgring

Fri, 17 Jul 2009

Aston Martin has opened a 2500 sq ft shop at the Nurburgring selling accessories and trinkets And now Aston Martin has decided it’s time to play shopkeeper, so they have opened up a new merchandise store at the Nurburgring. And they’re in good company, as both Nissan and Ferrari have recently done the same. But this is as much about the Nurburgring’s intention of becoming a leisure and business centre as it is about being a sales refuge for beleaguered car makers.

2013 Mercedes SL gets AMG Sport models

Wed, 01 May 2013

It’s not much more than a year since the new Mercedes SL arrived, but that’s not stopping Mercedes UK giving the range a bit of a makeover for 2013 / 2014. Both the SL 350 and SL 500 get a bit of an AMG makeover with the arrival of the AMG Sports Package for the SL range. That means a set of 19″ AMG alloys, lowered sports suspension, AMG body kit with new front and rear aprons and side sills, better brakes on the SL 350 and a boot lip.

TVR set for 2015 comeback

Fri, 28 Jun 2013

TVR's new owner, Les Edgar, has dated 2015 as the company's comeback, as they plan to have a two-car range costing 50,000-80,000 pounds ($76,155-$121,848). Having produced cars such as the Griffith, the Grantura, the Cerbera, the Chimaera, the Tuscan and the Sagaris, TVR hopes to continue and evolve this spirit after a production hiatus in 2006 due to ownership change. "It is a well-thought-out business plan, and at the root is the requirement to make money,” stated Edgar in an interview with Autocar.
