New Audi A2 EV Concept – first photos arrive
Wed, 07 Sep 2011New Audi A2 EV Concept - first photos It wouldn’t be a car show without yet another electric car concept from Audi. The difference at Frankfurt is that the already teased EV from Audi isn’t another in the seemingly endless iteration of e-Tron, instead we’re to get an electric car with a proper Audi tag – the Audi A2 Concept EV. The shame is that Audi seem to have abandoned the range extender route they displayed with the Audi A1 e-Tron – a small Wankel engine in the boot to charge the batteries – and have instead gone down the costly cul-de-sac of a pure EV in the A2.
Peugeot 107 Verve Review & Road Test part two
Sat, 10 Apr 2010Peugeot 107 Verve Road Test The 107 is a great first car – easy to drive, easy to park, insurance group 1E (so it won’t cost an arm and a leg to get a bit of no claims going), so much so I’ve already recommended it to a friend who is looking to buy her first car after passing her test. But with the starting price of the Peugeot 107 Verve at £9,170 it’s a little pricey for what you get, even thought that includes AirCon, alloys, CD player and mp3 point as standard. As a fun, economical and stylish City car the 107 Verve presses most of the right buttons.
Government Highlights 'Snowball Effect' Of Drink-Driving
Wed, 04 Dec 2013MILLIONS of people could lose their jobs if they were unable to drive to, or at, work through being caught drinking and driving. That’s the message behind a new Government drink-driving campaign in advance of the festive season. Keen to highlight the "snowball effect" of getting a drink-drive conviction, the campaign is hoping to register with individuals who need to be mobile for their profession, such as professional driving jobs, teachers, care workers and jobs in banks and finance.
